Legendary climber Mike Graham took part in the first "all-Italian ascent" at Yosemite Park's Half Dome; with his name not sounding particularly European, he adopted the Gramicci name which stuck around for his outerwear brand. Back in ’82 Graham set on a mission to invent a pair of trousers that wouldn’t hold him back when he was tackling the sheer cliffs of Yosemite. In a moment of genius, he hatched a revolutionary idea to add a gusset and a built-in belt to his classic climbing pants - birthing the iconic 'G-Pant'.
