Black Friday Gift Card Giveaway Terms and Conditions

By taking part in this competition, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms and conditions, then you should not take part in the competition. It is your responsibility to ensure that you review the terms and conditions before entering the competition. JD Sports Fashion plc t/a size? (“JD”), recommend that you print and store or save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference during the competition. JD is the promoter of this competition.

This competition is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram.

1. What can you win?

There will be seven (7) winners in total. The prizes are as follows:

• a £100 size? gift card (three (3) of these prizes are available to win); or
• a £50 size? gift card (four (4) of these prizes are available to win).

(the “Prizes“ and each a “Prize”).

The Prize is subject to availability. The Prize is subject to JD being able to contact winners and confirm eligibility. JD has the right to change, alter or withdraw the competition or Prize at any time due to any change in any applicable law or any events outside the control of JD. JD shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of the Prize. If any part of the Prize is not claimed (for whatever reason), JD is under no obligation to supply an alternative prize.

Prizes are personal to the winner. The Prize is not available for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange. JD reserves the right to cancel the competition and withdraw or make void any and all prize elements if this term is not complied with.

2. What is excluded from the Prize?

It is the winners’ responsibility to organise and pay for anything excluded from the Prize.

3. Who can enter?

Entrants must be:

• aged 18 years or over on the date of entry;
• a resident of England, Scotland or Wales; and
• have access to Instagram.

JD reserves the right to ask for proof of age. Employees (and their immediate family) of the JD group (http://www.jdplc.com/our-group/sports-fashion.aspx), or anyone else professionally connected with this competition are not eligible to enter the competition. JD reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to decide if the eligibility criteria are met. If the eligibility criteria are not met, the entry will be invalid.

4. How to enter

The competition starts on 22nd November 2024 at 9:00am (UK time) and ends on 23rd November 2024 at 9:00pm (UK time) (the “Competition Live Dates”). Any entries received after this date and time will not be valid.

Entrants can enter the competition by:

1. viewing size?’s Instagram story (@sizeofficial) on the Competition Live Dates;
2. solving the riddle from size?’s Instagram story which will reveal the location of a Prize (the “Location”);
3. travelling to the Location that was revealed by solving the riddle; and
4. finding the gift card Prize at the Location.

No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.

You may enter this competition as many times as you would like. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

5. How are winners selected?

There will be seven (7) different riddles promoted on size?’s Instagram story across the Competition Live Dates. The first entrant each day to answer the riddle correctly and find the Prize at the Location will be selected as the winner.

The decision of JD is final and binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winners (other than with the winners themselves). The winners will immediately receive the Prize upon locating the gift card at the Location.

In the event that the winner does not communicate their acceptance of the Prize within one (1) day, the winner forfeits, and will be considered to have waived their right to, the Prize and JD is under no obligation to, and shall not, select another winner.

6. Winners’ Responsibilities

It is the winners’ responsibility to: (i) complete all stages of the How to enter section above and present evidence of such completion to a member of staff in a Participating Store; (ii) provide accurate contact details; (iii) provide valid proof of age; (iv) organise and pay costs for anything excluded from the Prize, including travel to and from the Location. JD will not be liable to the winners or any other persons where they fail to comply with such responsibilities and any such failure may result in forfeiture of the Prize.

size? gift cards are subject to a separate terms and conditions, which can be accessed via: https://www.size.co.uk/customer-service/gift-card/. The winner is responsible for redeeming the gift card in accordance with the gift card terms and conditions.

7. Personal information

The winner’s personal data will be used to notify and communicate with them in relation to the Prize and for JD to comply with its obligation to publish the name and county of residence of winners.

8. Which law applies to this competition?

This competition is governed by the laws of England and Wales and the participants of the competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.

9. The Promoter

JD reserves the right to withdraw the Prize (or any part of it) if a winner breaches any of the terms in these terms and conditions or if they are found to have acted in a dishonest or fraudulent manner.
