Hi-Tec

Founded by Frank van Wezel in Shoesburyness, Essex, Hi-Tec are a sportswear and outdoor specialist who have been making multi-disciplinary sports products for wearers of all ages since 1974. Classic styles such as the 1981 ‘Silver Shadow’ Hi-Tec trainers were the standard issue training shoe used by the British Army up until recent years. In modern years, a string of collaborations with British labels Christopher Shannon and Maharishi have pulled the brand into the realms of streetwear, reintroducing the icons to a whole new generation.
