Founded in 1972 in New York, Pony initially specialized in sports and athletic footwear before moving into mainstream fashion footwear. Pony also benefitted from a lot of celebrity endorsements, such as top NBA basketball players, Mohammed Ali and, more recently, Snoop Dogg. These Topstar Highs are presented with a premium leather upper in white and features a royal blue leather chevron branding on the sides and a textured vulcanized sole. They also include a padded leather lining and woven brand tabs on the tongue and ankle.
