The Nike Air Safari, released in 1987, was a big risk for the brand due to the colourway and famous safari print, however when the Safari was featured on Biz Markie's Goin Off album sleeve its position in trainer history was created. This leather version of the classic runner is presented with a mixed upper consisting of premium leather panels on the sides, and black nylon mesh on the toe box and in the lining. It also features the original safari design around the toe in grey leather, heel and padded ankle support in pink. It also features the dual layered mid sole, Nike branding on the tongue and and a grey swoosh on the side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nike Air Safari This is by far the best trainer from the Nike 2013 collection so far. The most comfortable Nike trainers I've ever wore, beautiful design totally worth the price I've been getting compliments from all around. Definitely recommend that you buy them!!! Also as you may know the pictures you see are not always correct the quarter colour is not actually black it is grey. Plus only ONE downer about these are that there is not a Nike swoosh on the inside foot but I guess that's their design. 15 February 2013
