Launched in 1989, the Air Flight 89 shares close similarities to the classic Jordan IV. Through its retro looks and functional appeal, the Air Flight 89 has become extremely popular both on and off the court ever since its release. This edition, from Nike, comes in a premium nubuck upper in wolf grey, sat on the chunky multi-panelled EVA mid sole in black, white and tonal grey. Other features include the black swoosh branding on the sides, nylon mesh on the tongue and ankle panels, the classic visible air window on the mid sole and Nike Air Flight branding on the tongue and heel.
