First released in 1988, New Balance presents this hiking inspired 574, a classic running shoe featuring a premium grey suede upper with breathable mesh panelling, a yellow branded heel stabiliser and New Balance branding on the side, plus woven branding on the tongue with a padded lined inner.

Fancied a pair of 574s for a while now, but then Adidas release another zx700 colorway or onitsuka tiger release yet more ultimate 81s .. So it's been a long time coming
Well I saw these in grey and yellow and as my onitsuka tigers ultimate 81 in the same colorway are well worn I thought I.d have them ..
Very impressed, a perfect shoes for winter with the splashproof waterproofing to the front suede toe section.
A very comfy fit, true to size, and great 574 running style
The only negatives
1 they are not made in England
2 these should be a little more rugged with a chunkier grip than the standard new balance sole after all they are called hike
