Established in 1949 within a small workshop in Kobe, Japan, Asics brand name is an acronym for 'anima sana in corpore sano', translating to a 'healthy soul in a healthy body'. They now present this GT-II with a mixed upper consisting of breathable white woven mesh and faux grey suede with emerald and purple branding on the sides. It also features a a gel infused foam sole, printed branding on the heel and padded tongue with a woven Asics brand tab, plus a towelled purple inner lining.
